This is what quarantined life taught me...

So, I have been thinking for a while now, is there such a thing as the most popular word for the year? Like, is that a thing? If it is, I was thinking that the word “quarantine” would definitely be it. Yes, God has shut down the world. An invisible virus has been on a world tour devastating everything in its path, and for our safety, we find ourselves within the four walls we call home.

Once upon a time I would wish to stay home all the time, but be careful what you wish for. Now I find myself in an environment where death patrols the streets and I’m away from those I love.

How has it been for you? Social distancing and quarantining can be quite the lonesome experience. However, I want to share with you one of my favorite scriptures.

Hebrews 13:5

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

It’s amazing that we are never truly alone. God is a person who is with us. If only we would treat Him that way. Strike up a convo with Him, and you’ll realize, that you are never alone.
