One Flesh

Eph 2:14-15 - For Jesus is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Do you know that if you have the Holy Ghost, you are actually a body part of Jesus Christ? The scripture says Jesus is the head of the Body the church, and we are the parts that comprise His Body (Eph 5:23). This was achieved when we received the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is one Spirit and He is the same Spirit in each and every Christian. This makes us one. However, can we truly say that we always operate as one? Look at the principle revealed below.

Eph 5:29 - For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

This is a scripture used to teach the mystery of marriage, however, it also applies to the fact that we are all body parts of Christ. We all are the make-up of one new man – Jesus Christ. However, do we hate our own flesh? Are there wars, and strife, dishonesty, and envying among us? If so, we hate our own selves. Let us rid ourselves of these things that hinder us, as a body and restore this body to good health.
