Day 12
As you go through this challenge, the key is to do nothing that would offend the Holy Spirit. Contrary to popular belief, if you are a son of God, the Lord will never allow you to sin when He did not warn you first. However, there can be various things that you have convinced yourself that does not offend God. For example, the things we watch on television. Do we allow ourselves to be entertained by gossip, and fornication, and worldly concepts? These things are offensive to the Holy Spirit.
Whenever you offend the Holy Spirit, you have taken the reins, and you will no longer have His power. So be watchful and stay pure. Be slow to speak and quick to listen. Be careful of the jokes you make and the conversations you entertain. Keep your heart pure and your conscience healthy.
