Honesty is the Best Policy Pt. 3

"Lying lips are abomination to the Lord : but they that deal truly are his delight." Proverbs 12:22

An abomination is an evil act that God abhors and will judge. The lips that utter lies is repugnant to God. God dislikes the very lips of a liar. Can you imagine a son of God, who represents the God of Truth in the earth; changing the character of God by embracing and releasing lies? You are inadvertently telling the world that God is a liar when you misrepresent Him. The fact though is that you are the liar, not God.

We must see the evil in this and change. The Truth is the only thing that can set a soul free. If we are afraid to speak the truth on a 'small scale,' we will not speak it on a 'large scale.'

In this season where the Lord has promised to exalt Truth, if you are not a bearer of truth by your life, you will not be a part of that move of God. If you minister holiness, yet walk in unrighteousness, you are a liar. If we minister what we don't believe, we are liars. We may utter the Truth of God's Word from our lips but our life is a lie. We will always live what we believe. As professed Believers, when we look at our lives, do we really believe the Word? Do we prove or disprove the Word? If we do not live what we profess to believe, we lie.

Any life that is not within the boundary of Truth (the Word) is a lie. That person's reality is governed by a lie, which is satanic.

The Lord delights in those who speak the truth. Our life is telling a story. We are living epistles and each day we are writing the story of Jesus if indeed we have His Spirit. If our living is not a true testimony of the life of Christ, we have lived a lie and misrepresent our Heavenly Kingdom.

"A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish" Proverbs 19:9

Let us be Honest and Live the Truth.
