He Keeps

Sometimes in our walk we may feel as if we are unsure of where we stand with God. If this question is not answered, we can often find ourselves feeling doubtful when praying. This can be a frustrating thing, because it causes you never to have the boldness you need to approach the throne of Grace. But is this what God intended for us?

Romans 6:14 - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Here we go again, back to understanding Grace. It is so important that we embrace that it is the power of the Holy Spirit that keeps us from sin. The keeping power of the Holy Spirit in action is called Grace.

Grace is much more than a covering for sin, but it is the life of Christ manifested in you. Therefore, if you are timid to approach God, you must ask yourself, have I offended the Grace of God in any way? Is Grace using me? If Grace isn't active in you, simply repent earnestly and ask God to have His way in you. All it takes then is trust that He has heard you, forgiven you, and restored you, and is willing to live through you from henceforth. So now you can enjoy the bliss of His keeping power.

Jude 1:24 - Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy
