Day 5
🔶The truth is, every trial that we face in life is a love test that is set up by God and relates to our love for God and man.
🔶We cannot love without God because God is love. God has made us love when He made us the New Creation in Christ. He wants us to always remember that as He is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).
🔶 It can be said that: The heart of the matter is the matter of the heart! This is real and we will come to see that the main purpose of every trial will always be to reveal to us whether or not our heart is established in the perfect love of God that is in us and who we have become in Christ.
Love is the first and greatest commandment:
"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
(Matthew 22:37-40 KJV)
🔶This is why the way for us to live now, and to prepare for the trials and tests of the last days, and an increasing anti - Christian system, is to agree to daily walk in the first and great commandment; which is Love of God and of man.
🔶Prophet Jesse Mc Cree recently reminded us that God wants us to acknowledge every good thing that is in us in Jesus Christ. This includes God's love in us; our new love-nature. If we choose to walk in this, then like Jesus we will fulfil all the other commandments and never fail a test or trial in our life. This is why God has told us that ❤ Charity/Love never fails.
Reflect & Respond
This challenge is meant for us to choose to love others on purpose with the love of God that He has shed abroad in our hearts. He is faithful to identify the oppositions to His "love nature and love works" in us. As He does this, let us agree with Him and renounce or turn away from them.
Every day is an opportunity to walk in the love of God if you are saved. If you are not saved, it is an opportunity to receive the love of God in your heart by the Holy Spirit.
Let us all give God's Love ❤ a heart response today. He deserves it!
