A Thought About You!
Matthew 18:12How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
When I think of the awesome splendor of God my heart simply rejoices. Have you ever considered the implications of the reality that God knew you before the world began? It shows a deep intimate yearning in the heart of the Father to know you personally. He longed for you, and in His longing, He numbered the hairs on your head. He called you and ordained you unto good works. He crowned you with glory even before the world began.
However, there was a price He knew He would have to pay. You would one day be lost. You would move from His heart into the world and become overtaken by evil. You would be born in sin and shaped in iniquity. You would be a lost soul wandering in the abyss of sin. However, it was in the heart of the Father, that though you were a sheep that went astray, He would leave the heavenly host of angels to redeem you. Yes, you! He moved from heaven to cross for you. Bled and died, for you. Rose the 3rd day so you could be set free from your sin.
Now He presents a love song so strong, you should be drunken with its melody. As He whispers to you,
I love you and have drawn you to myself.
You are one of a kind, my valentine.
Praise God for the Prince of Peace who has rescued us from the dragon - the enemy. Praise God for redeeming us unto Himself, because we were once sheep who were gone astray, but into the wonderful arms of the Father, we have returned!
