Ensure you read Yesterday's Sunrise
We are still in Col 2:9-13, and we have rearranged the order of the verses, so that they fit the order of the operation of faith i.e. 13 (the first half), 11, 9, 10, 12, 13 (the second half). Yesterday we dealt with the first half of verse 13, today let's go to 11. Remember this whole process happens the split second you receive the Holy Ghost, we are simply slowing it down so you can see it.
Yesterday we learned about the spirit of iniquity and how it infiltrated Adam's seed. We also learned about the state of the flesh before the Holy Ghost comes in. It was a body of sin in which the emotions of sins worked (Rom 7:5). The law of sin and death worked in the body to bring forth fruit unto death. Paul having recognized this, spoke as someone without the Holy Ghost saying, O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? (Rom 7:24)
However his response to that question is the answer.
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord... (Rom 7:25)
Thus, God through Jesus Christ, delivers us from the body of sin. This however is not futuristic, when we all are raptured; this deliverance happens the moment we receive the Holy Spirit. Let's look at how exactly we are delivered from the body of sin.
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: - Colossians 2:11
There is a spiritual circumcision of the flesh, that is hardly ever hear preached. Circumcision was a practice given to Abraham by God, as a type or shadow of what Christ would do in the New Covenant. The foreskin was considered the unclean part of a man, and thus God told Abraham to remove it from all of the male babies on the 8th day. However, as I said this was a type and shadow of things to come.
Now, to receive the Holy Ghost we must all be circumcised, however, not according to Abraham's covenant. Our circumcision will be done by Christ, and not with hands. Our flesh is spiritually circumcised by the putting off (removing) of the body of sin.
How exactly is the body of sin removed? Well, the first step is that Jesus removes the soul from the Body of sin.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
According to Romans 6:6 (mentioned below) the old man is the body of sin. Our souls have put off the body of sin. This caused it to die. Thus,
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead... - James 2:26
and again
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. - Romans 6:7
When our souls are removed from the flesh, Christ then circumcises the flesh, by cutting away the unclean part. In this case the unclean part is not the foreskin, it is the law of sin and death (see yesterday's sunrise). At salvation Jesus removes all sin out of the flesh, He sanctifies it by His Spirit. This is the circumcision of the flesh.
Thus, my body is no longer my enemy, it has been sanctified, and made pure, by His Spirit. However, there is so much more to learn, however, meditate on the following scriptures.

23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. - 1 Thes 5:23
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased. - Galatians 5:11
(Paul is saying that He preaches circumcision yet he is always being persecuted by the Jews. However, the circumcision he preaches is the circumcision of Christ made without hands.)
*For we wrestle not against flesh and blood*, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. - Ephesians 6:12
(We are not fighting our sinful flesh, because our flesh is not sinful anymore. It has been circumcised by Christ. Instead our warfare is against enemies are in heavenly places, that seek to stop the flow of the gospel and send suggestions of sin to the mind.)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: - 2 Corinthians 10:3
