Matthew 6:31
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Over the past year or so, this pandemic has caused drastic disruption in the earth. There are many uncertainties, frustration is evident and the fear is real.
Did you find yourself asking any of these questions?
Will this affect my job?
Is my family safe?
How am I going to even enjoy the holidays?
My dear friend, the answer to all these questions is to trust God.
Matthew 6: 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
God is saying, "Do not worry about anything. I see it all and remember that anything that happens in your life, I allowed it to happen. Nothing catches me by surprise. All I want you to know is that I am more than able to provide for and protect you. I have taken you this far in your life and I am more than able to take you further. Remember I will never leave you nor forsake you. You can trust me, you can call on me and I will give a listening hear. As a Father, I love when my children talk to me. You are my offspring, you are my child. A good father seeks to give their kids what's best for them."
Don't let what you are seeing with your physical eyes discourage you. Look up! From whence cometh your help, your help cometh from the Lord.
