Something to think about this Christmas.

Girl with Christmas hat on, thinking about something.

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

It's a unique experience when something holds such significance for us that it inspires celebration. To celebrate means to observe a notable occasion with festivities. Consider this: While we were still entangled in sins, destined for a grim fate, Christ chose to die for us. He left the comforts of His heavenly abode to live a humble life, born amidst the scent of animals, and met a criminal's death, all for our sake.

As we celebrate the birth of Christ, let's go beyond the traditional festivities. What if we offered our entire lives in gratitude? If we genuinely value His birth and the ultimate sacrifice, why not spend the rest of our days honoring and obeying Him? Not just today, but every day. This is the most meaningful and cherished gift He desires—a life dedicated to Him.

Let's shift our perspective on Christmas. It's not merely about trees, presents, and decorations. Instead, let it be a sincere "thank you" from our hearts, with our lives serving as proof. May this day be a reminder to live in perpetual gratitude and devotion to the One who gave Himself for us.

(PS. I know it's not His actual birthday, this is simply the day I choose to celebrate Him LOL)
