I just saw a post on someone's WhatsApp status and it was so profound to me. I will place the image below.
When I read this, it totally jumped out at me. "If we're not hungry for Christ, we're probable too full of ourselves." This is so true. When I read the post, I thought simultaneously, about many who are missing the move of God. God has us in a time of consecration and reverence. A time of seeking His face. Those that are participating are moving in the Spirit of God. However, there are some who have not discerned the move of God.
I once heard that the way to discern whether you have backslidden or not is to see whether you have paused, while God is still moving. What do you see God doing around you? Are you a part of it? Judge your heart, is there a true hunger for the things of God? A true hunger to see people restored and saved? What do you want most? Do you want Jesus above all? Do you want Jesus for others above all? If not, you are selfish and will miss the move of God.
These words may be severe, but they are truth. Let us deny ourselves and our lives, that the Father may be glorified in the Son who is in us.
