Reading: 1 John 3:14-19
You’ve probably heard a question like this, “If you were to die right now, would you make it into heaven?” But have you ever been able to say yes or no with certainty? God doesn’t want His children to be in the dark about this life, nor does He want them confused about death. God is faithful to make His children know for sure where we will spend eternity, if we should die right now.
If you walk in the selfless love of God, it erases all uncertainty and dispels all doubt as to whether you are pleasing God. He is love, and He laid down His life for this world. Let the love of Christ flow from you to others and don’t hinder it no matter how much it costs you. And while your words are powerful, don’t let your love be limited to just words; be genuine, and let your actions prove that your words are true. Anyone who abides in the love of God is guaranteed to make it into glory.
