Ephesians 4: 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
A few days ago, I was introduced to a game called Tonk. At first they said it was really simple but the rules seemed to keep getting more and more complex. After a while, the conclusion was “It’s really just a game of chance”. It wasn’t until a few minutes later when I found out someone had already won the game that I realized that the “chance” in this game had a lot to do with the cards that you got to begin with. Come to think of it, life can feel like that sometimes.
You may feel life you’ve been given a bad deal or you weren’t even given as many cards as the person beside you, res
t assured that your life is a gift and the path of your life will eventually reveal how much of a gift it really is. God doesn’t want us to go through life constantly comparing what we have with others, He wants us to take the hand that we have been dealt and make the absolute best of it. We have all been given gifts. Don’t waste time comparing. Seize this opportunity to fulfill your purpose and make it to the end.
