In our previous night’s session of the MSOG revival, our eyes were open up to the importance of acknowledging and embracing the truth that is in Christ Jesus (the report about us as sons of God). There were points in my walk where I’ve disobeyed the leading of the Holy Ghost in my life and instead of repenting and turning away, I felt like I was trapped in an endless snare. In my heart, I wanted to move, but I couldn’t, so instead, I remained unrepentant. The reason for this was, I just thought that I would never be completely holy. Unbeknown to me I had brought my ownself in captivity with a lie I created. But 2 Timothy 2:25-26 lets us know that the power to not be caught in a snare of the enemy is to always acknowledge the truth that God did in you and that is:
Ephesians 4:21-24
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
