Let‘s start off this series with a classic scripture.
John 7:38 KJV
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Jesus taught us that if we believe Him according to the scriptures the Holy Spirit would flow in and through us. This is a simple reality that many have overlooked. There are some that have been seeking the Holy Ghost for years and it seems as if they can never get saved. However, the truth is the truth. YOU CANNOT RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST UNLESS YOU BELIEVE!
There are many things that we can choose blame and be confused about, however, God is a simple God. He says what He means and He means what He says. If you believe on Him to rescue you from your sins, He will. However, you must believe with your whole heart, doubting absolutely nothing, but trusting that the one that promised you salvation is able to perform it immediately. You must believe that His plan included you and because of His love for you He can’t wait to save you.
Simply run into the arms of the Father with your whole soul. Holding back nothing. As He speaks to your mind agree with Him and let go any distraction. Remember if you simply desire Him earnestly He will deal with all your sin issues Himself. Just believe!
I challenge you today to believe God with your whole heart for the reception of the Holy Ghost and I await to hear your testimony! If you truly want Him go to Him in prayer right now and ask Him for His Spirit. Believe that when you ask Him He has heard you and will respond. Just believe!
