Iniquity is the most powerful thing the devil has ever created. It is the power of sin and death. For those wondering what I mean by iniquity, I am referring to sin that is developed in the heart. It is the darkness that enters and remains in the heart, which in turn affects the whole man. It is anything that stops the flow of love from you to God, you to people, or from people to you.
I once heard one of my leaders Apostle Michael Thomas minister on iniquity, and he said, “The devil is not the one you should be worrying about.” Of course when I heard this I was appalled. The devil is the one after our souls, so if we shouldn’t worry about him, who should we worry about!”
Ezekiel 28:14-15 KJVS
[14] Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so : thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. [15] Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Apostle Mike, continued to say, “Don’t fear the devil, because He was a perfect, sinless creature until iniquity was found in him, it is iniquity that you must fear.” Of course this changed my whole perspective on life. Indeed, the devil has no power over us as sons of God, but if we sin, we are drawn away by our own lust, by the iniquity of our hearts. Guard your heart from iniquity today.
