Matthew 6:31
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
We are in a time of a global pandemic and yes, this pandemic has caused a lot of disruptions in people's everyday lives. Because of this, minds are running wild with thoughts, the frustrations are evident and the fear is real.
I have heard many persons within my community, and even outside of my community, ask these questions:
1. Where am I going to find the money to take care of my family the way I want to?
2. How am I going to pay my rent?
3. When will I get another job?
The Lord began to say that the answer to all these questions is to trust Him.
God is saying, "Do not worry about anything. I see it all and remember that anything that happens in your life, I allowed it to happen. Nothing catches me by surprise. All I want you to know is that I am more than able to provide for and protect you. I have taken you this far in your life and I am more than able to take you further. Remember I will never leave you nor forsake you. You can trust me, you can call on me and I will give a listening hear. As a Father, I love when my children talk to me. You are my offspring, you are my child. A good father seeks to give their kids what's best for them."
Don't let what you are seeing with your physical eyes discourage you. Look up! From whence cometh your help, your help cometh from the Lord.
