We are the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21). This is a statement that is so overlooked. The Lord Jesus Christ is in us, shining through us. Thus we are His righteousness. However, it is very possible for one to suppress this righteousness.
Sanctification, is necessary for us to walk in the perfect will of God. This walk is a very serious thing. It cannot be mimic or duplicated. It must be Jesus who lives through us. Our responsibility is to motivate Him to live through us by presenting Him a holy vessel.
Let us sanctify ourselves that we may be used by Him.
