At some point in time we may have planned something or the other. Whether it was a meeting, your morning route to work or even as simple as your next meal. While thinking about this event you had an idea of the outcome you would like to see so you set the necessary details in place to allow an "expected end".
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
In a similar way, God, in His infinite wisdom has carefully and thoughtfully planned out every detail of this event He calls "time" which has a beginning and an end. He has done this, without ever manipulating the human will or decision.
However, as I mentioned before, God has infinite wisdom. Without God letting you know what He wants through His Spirit, you will be stuck in "man's wisdom" which is limited to self preservation on this earth. Meanwhile, God had a whole different idea of what He wants out of this. The greatest thing is that He already knows He is going to get it.
Isaiah 55:9
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
In this week's Sunrises we want to find out what is God's way as opposed to man's limited and darkenened views. Let's see thing's from the creator's perspective.
